About Me
My favorite hobbies as a student are playing video games, reading biographical books, programming web applications, exploring different areas of software, and learning something new everyday.
My passion for computers and software occurred when I was a toddler. I would turn my computer on and would browse the internet for games. I have always been curious about computers and how this various software were programmed and accessible through these man-made machines.
An interesting fact about me is that I was born in Melbourne, Australia, and moved to Canada as a toddler.

Yes, my parents told me I have seen kangaroos, but I don't remember seeing them.

Team Communication
Communication, chemistry, strong optimism, and perseverance are critical to an effective, efficient, and productive team. As someone who has worked in numerous groups from high school, my summer internship at Gunkii, to my third year at Queen's. I have worked with numerous types of teammates and have worked with different scenarios around common issues and scenarios that can arise in a team. As engineering students, each year, we were given a team of students whom we most likely did not know. This played a significant role as it encouraged me to adapt to new groups, to be flexible and confident, and always have an open mind to learning new skills, paths, and ideas from others.
My Experience

Software Development Intern @ Gunkii
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
July 2022 - September 2022
- Constructed a responsive UI shopping cart page using HTML, Liquid, and CSS.
- Researched, suggested, and executed methods to optimize the website's speed by compressing images, and videos, reducing/deleting obsolete backend code.
- Fixed bugs and maintained the website by solving video issues, scrolling animation bugs, and other issues that caused UI bugs on the website to prevent a bad user experience.
- Integrated AfterPay to enable the BNPL feature for the products on the desktop website and the AMP site. It was accomplished using JavaScript, Shopify Themes, and ShopSheriff.
- Contributed constructive ideas, helped and guided peers over merging issues on GitHub, website optimization articles, and constant updates/PowerPoints based on the changes done on the website during weekly sprints and meetings.
